Nike Ja 1
The first colorway for Ja and Nike to get an official wide launch was the Ja 1 “Day One.” The Day One is tied to Ja’s underdog persona and the mentality he has regarding proving his critics wrong.
The shoe was constructed and designed to fit Ja’s explosive style of play. The Nike Ja 1 featured an ideal fit for quick directional changes and bursts off the ground. The Nike Ja 1 was a success with fans and ballers.
Nike Ja 2
The Ja 2 looked bulkier and sturdier than the 1, but it featured a slightly lighter design. It has a higher cut than the 1.
The shoes have Air Zoom cushioning. The tractor tire inspired traction allows Ja to change direction easily and quickly. An Air Zoom unit is in the forefront of the shoe, which gives Ja a little extra bounce. Extra padding is in the ankle, and the mesh upper helps the breathability.
Nike Ja 3
The 3 is a very personal creation for Ja Morant. The all-star guard painted the Swoosh on the shoe. It has a special angle to it that is reminiscent of the letter “J.”
For the first time, a Nike basketball shoe has a layered full-length hybrid ZoomX Foam. The 3 is specifically designed to keep Ja locked in for his high flying and quick change of direction moves. The Ja 3 released in August 2025.
